Two teens indicted for string of armed carjackings in Prince George's County, police say

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said two teens were indicted for a string of armed carjackings that took place in June and July.
Police said that a 16-year-old boy from Upper Marlboro and a 17-year-old boy from Lanham were charged in connection to seven armed carjackings, one attempted armed carjacking and a stolen vehicle.
Both teens were charged as adults.

The incidents took place between June 4 and July 9 in Bowie and Upper Marlboro.
The 16-year-old was indicted on 43 charges of armed carjacking and related offenses and the 17-year-old was indicted on 31 counts of armed carjacking and related offenses.
All of the carjacked vehicles were recovered.
