TRENTON — The Trenton High football team made sure it was going to finish with a winning record The Tornadoes wrapped up their season with a 21-7 victory over Long Branch on Wednesday night at Bill Harvin Memorial Stadium to ensure a mark over .500 in a full season for the first time since 2017 Trenton (6-4) also won a share of the WJFL Valley Division championship this season. The Tornadoes won even though the Green Wave (1-8) gained 360 yards on the ground. Trenton kept Long Branch out of the end zone all but once. Hightstown 14, Robbinsville 7 HIGHTSTOWN — The Rams (3-7) defeated the Ravens (2-8) in the finale for both squads. Gavin Yablonowitz completed 11-of-32 passes for 125 yards and a nine-yard score to William Raftery for Robbinsville’s lone points. Montgomery 35, WW-P 0 PLAINSBORO — Trey McFadden scored all five touchdowns for the Cougars (1-9) as they stormed past United (2-8). McFadden caught eight passes for 183 yards and four touchdowns and returned the opening kickoff 80 yards to the end zone. West Windsor senior quarterback Conor Sattiraju finished his career with 41 yards passing and 37 yards rushing.
