MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A teacher at Collierville Middle School is suspended pending investigations by police and the school district, officials said Thursday. Collierville Police said they spoke with the teacher on campus Wednesday morning. The nature of the complaint was not disclosed, nor the name of the teacher. Police called it a "potential situation." No one has been charged or arrested, police and the school district said. "Per Board policy, the employee has been suspended pending the results of investigations by both the Collierville Police Department and Collierville Schools," the district said in a statement.
