MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Three people were injured after two separate overnight shootings in the South Memphis area, according to police. Officers say they responded to the first shooting at the Lamar Crossing apartment complex along Peacock Ridge Place just after 11:30 p.m. A man and a woman were found suffering from gunshot wounds. At 1:13 a.m., officers say they responded to another shooting in the 800 block of East Mclemore Avenue where a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
