Here's a look at just a few of the many places in Waikiki you can check out celebrating fright night.
From kid friendly, to adults only, there's something for the whole family.
Just walking down Kalakaua Avenue is a highlight for many.
"Definitely going to walk around, people watch or something. I want to see every costume that everybody has," visitor Chloe Phifer said. "I'm going for the scariest costume. I want to see who dresses the best. I want a little fright on my night, so I'm excited."
But beware. Things may not be as kid friendly after dark as Honolulu residents Kyle and Cassandra Renfro explained.

"(Kalakaua Avenue) is crazy," Kyle Renfro said. "People watching is amazing. Now that we have (our daughter) it's going to be much more tame."
"It definitely does get crazy, for sure," Cassandra Renfro agreed.
"Halloween in Waikiki is a spectacle, its one of the best times of year and one of the most fun times," Waikiki Business Improvement District President Trevor Abarzua said. "There's going to be extra police on the streets, extra aloha ambassadors, so we believe it's going to be a really successful night here in Waikiki."
According to HPD, the Mauka Lane of Kalakaua Avenue will be closed between Lewers and Uluniu Avenue starting at 3 p.m. to allow for the crowds expected to flock to the area.
"What's your favorite part about Halloween?" KHON2 asked Jared Winter, visiting the islands from California with his wife.

"The candy," Winter said. "I'm a big kid at heart so I love trick or treating, going out and doing all that stuff."
If you're looking for a family friendly spot to take the kids, look no further than the International Market Place.
"We have trick or treating from 4 to 6 p.m., we also have some special activations that are entirely free, including balloon art, glitter tattoos," International Market Place Marketing and Sponsorship Specialist Darian Pang explained. "We also have some characters keiki can take photos with on level one."
Look for the orange and black balloons outside the stores for treats and stop by the customer service desk to pick up a coupon good for $10 off when you spend $100. Parking is free with validation for the first hour.

They've also got several events happening for adults too after 6 p.m.
"ShoreFyre has a carnival themed event where they have a costume contest, carnival games and live entertainment," Pang said.
Another option for party goers is happening at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. The 'Creatures Come Alive' for Halloween at the Hyatt costume party is 21+, starts at 8 p.m. and guests can win up to $2,000 in costume contest prizes.
But no matter where or how you spend your Halloween remember to be safe.
