SENECA, Wis. (WFRV) - A mother and her two teenage sons from southwestern Wisconsin were pronounced dead after a head-on collision with a semi on State Highway 35 Tuesday night. Deputies with the Crawford County Sheriff's Office say they were notified of a head-on collision between an SUV and a semi-tractor trailer on WIS 35 just north of Lynxville in the Town of Seneca around 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29. Authorities seek public help to locate missing Shawano County man An initial investigation was conducted and it was learned that the driver of the SUV, a 16-year-old boy from Eastman, was southbound on WIS 35 when he reportedly crossed the centerline, colliding head-on with a northbound semi. According to the release, the 16-year-old's mother was in the passenger seat and his 13-year-old brother was in the backseat. Both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene and the 45-year-old mother was taken to a local hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. The driver of the semi, a 44-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada was not injured in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
