SENECA, Wis. (WFRV) - A mother and her two teenage sons from southwestern Wisconsin were pronounced dead after a head-on collision with a semi on State Highway 35 Tuesday night. Deputies with the Crawford County Sheriff's Office say they were notified of a head-on collision between an SUV and a semi-tractor trailer on WIS 35 just north of Lynxville in the Town of Seneca around 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29. Authorities seek public help to locate missing Shawano County man An initial investigation was conducted and it was learned that the driver of the SUV, a 16-year-old boy from Eastman, was southbound on WIS 35 when he reportedly crossed the centerline, colliding head-on with a northbound semi. According to the release, the 16-year-old's mother was in the passenger seat and his 13-year-old brother was in the backseat. Both teenagers were pronounced dead at the scene and the 45-year-old mother was taken to a local hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. The driver of the semi, a 44-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada was not injured in the crash. Infant in Wisconsin dies after being left unattended in bathtub; teenager arrested for child neglect All three of the victims were from Eastman and have been identified as: Heather Kramer, 45 Benjamin Kramer, 16 Simon Kramer, 13 The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Seneca Fire Department, Seneca First Responders, Ocooch Mountain Rescue, Crawford County Highway Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol. The crash remains under investigation.
