(WFRV) - Authorities say a man from southern Wisconsin was recently found guilty of multiple charges including sex trafficking and arson. 39-year-old Wisconsin man out on bail arrested for 1st-degree reckless homicide According to a release from the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, 45-year-old Bobby McNeil from Milwaukee was found guilty on October 28 for the following charges: Sex Trafficking by Force, Fraud, or Coercion Arson in Furtherance of a Federal Felony Arson of a Building/Rental Property Interstate Transportation for the Purpose of Prostitution Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon Officials say evidence was able to establish that between 2021 and 2022 McNeil had use threats of force, fraud, and coercion to get a woman to engage in commercial acts of sex on the south side of Milwaukee. McNeal also reportedly got the victim to travel from Florida back to Wisconsin for further sex acts and also threw a Molotov cocktail into the home of someone who had attempted to help the woman get away from him. UPDATE: Green Bay man facing multiple fraud charges has plea/sentencing set Officials say the judge came to a guilty verdict as a result of the numerous text messages, Facebook messages, and recorded messages McNeil sent to the victim that corroborated her testimony in court. McNeil is scheduled to be back in court on February 4, 2025, for a sentencing hearing as he currently faces anywhere from 25 years to life in prison.
