COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Seven people were honored on Wednesday, Oct. 30 for careers serving their communities. An induction ceremony was held on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 30, for meritorious achievement in law enforcement. This year’s honorees included officers from the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety, the Department of Natural Resources, and SLED among others. Officers who spoke with ABC Columbia say this is the honor of a lifetime. All of today’s honorees have been in law enforcement for more than 25 years. Categories: Local News, State
