CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO)– It is the even of Halloween and the Cayce Police Department has some safety tips to keep your child safe. Officials say children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. You should also establish a route and a return time if you let your child go alone. And make sure costumes or the trick-or-bag has reflective strips so they can be spotted by drivers. Speaking of drivers, officials say you should take extra precautions on Thursday, Halloween Day, and to exit and enter driveways, walkways, and crosswalks slowly.
