Give your Halloween pumpkin a soaring sendoff, sample some Maryland craft beers, and warm up with some chili for a good cause.Check out all of these activities and more in our weekend events roundup:Werewolves Board Game Night, Thursday, Oct. 31, 6:30 p.m., Enoch Pratt Free Library, Light Street Branch. Get into the Halloween spirit by playing the board game The Werewolves.Prince Tribute, Thursday, Oct. 31, 7 p.m., Keystone Korner. Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Prince’s “Purple Rain” with a tribute act featuring award-winning singer and guitar player Cymone Lovett as Prince, joined by his 10-piece band.Rocky Horror Interactive Showing, Thursday, Oct. 31, 9 p.m., Warehouse Cinemas Rotunda. Baltimore will get a visit from the Transylvania galaxy during an interactive showing of the cult classic “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Interactive objects will be provided, but attendees can also bring their own — just no throwing liquids or wet objects. Audience members can dance in their seats or in the aisles. Outrageous (but family-friendly) outfits are encouraged.Keller Williams, Friday, Nov. 1, doors open at 10 p.m., music starts at 11 p.m., Baltimore Soundstage. Stay up late with Keller Williams, grooving to the sound he has jokingly dubbed “acoustic dance music” or ADM.Pumpkin Smash, Saturday, Nov. 2, 10 a.m. to noon, Maryland Science Center. Send your jack-o-lantern tumbling out a chute off the roof of the Maryland Science Center and watch it meet its end on the patio below. Afterwards, the pumpkin remains will be composted by Waste Neutral, so no glitter, paint, or crayon allowed. Pumpkins must also be fewer than 14 inches in diameter to fit through the chute.Family Fall Festival, Saturday, Nov. 2, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Star Bright Farm. Bring the family out to the farm for food, music, a tour of the farm, and plenty of family-friendly activities, including a straw bale maze, wagon rides, and donkeys. Star Bright Farm’s Barn Market will be fully stocked for seasonal shopping.Baltimore Craft Beer Festival, Saturday, Nov. 2, noon, Baltimore Peninsula. Enjoy live music, food vendors, and yes, plenty of craft beer! New this year will be the Winners Circle, showcasing the breweries that won gold medals from the Maryland Craft Beer Competition. A panel of judges will taste and score those gold-medal-winning beers before crowning this year’s Best of Show winner.Chili Cookoff, Saturday, Nov. 2, 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Sample chili from an array of competitors and cast your vote to help name the People’s Choice winner. Awards will also be given to Judge’s Choice & Best Theme. Attendees will also be able to meet Baltimore Ravens player Trenton Simpson. No cover!Out of the Ashes, Sunday, Nov. 3, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Replica Gaslight (300 E. Baltimore Street). Learn about The Great Baltimore Fire of 1904, the fire that swept through downtown and wasn’t brough under control until the next day. The fire destroyed 1,500 buildings, left 35,000 people unemployed, and caused $150 million worth of property damage.Maverick City Music, Sunday, Nov. 3, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins 7 p.m., CFG Bank Arena. Contemporary Christian worship music collective Maverick City Music will perform in Baltimore. The five-time Grammy award-winning collective is currently on their Good News Tour with American gospel musician and songwriter Tasha Cobbs Leonard.
