COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a string of burglaries that occurred in residence halls on Ohio State University’s campus.
Earlier this week, Ohio State University police issued a public safety notice saying it was investigating a string of five burglaries, including four from student dorm rooms and one from an academic building.
The notice said the burglaries occurred between Oct. 23-28 in four unlocked, unattended residence hall rooms in Baker, Bradley, Canfield and Mack halls, and one from a room in Jennings Hall.

All three suspects arrested are juveniles, the OSU Department of Safety said, and are not affiliated with the university. The group allegedly stole money, credit cards, gift cards, electronics and computers.
Police said the investigation is ongoing. They encouraged students living in residence halls to not leave rooms unlocked when unattended, or let anyone in buildings without proper authorization and identification. They also asked anyone with information related to the case to call Ohio State University Police Department at 614-292-2121.
