WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Some of the District's best local musical talents will be in Northwest D.C. this Saturday for a fun, family-friendly event. Adams Morgan Fall PorchFest is happening on November 2nd."We will have more than 100 bands playing on more than 25 porches around the neighborhood," said Kristen Barden, the Executive Director of Adams Morgan Partnership. Viral video shows street race between Tesla Cybertruck and Lamborghini in Fairfax County Kristen Barden said the event, which has been going on for more than a decade, will feature all types of music, including classic rock, funk, go-go, hip-hop, reggae and pop. Barden said while listening to music you can check out all the unique things the neighborhood offers. "We have over 200 restaurants representing cuisines from around the world," said Barden. Many of those restaurants will be offering special discounts for the event.
