Overnight thunderstorms dropped brief heavy rain and brought gusty winds to much of North Texas. These storms initiated along a cold front. The rain is pushing out early this morning as the cold front continues slides eastward, leaving us with sunshine and a north breeze. Expect a high temperature of 75 degrees on Halloween, with trick-or-treat temperatures falling into the 60s under clear skies. Dry weather will extend into early Friday before another chance of showers late in the day. The better chance of rain and thunderstorms arrives Saturday.
