I am casting my vote for Roger Armstrong (D)  and for Ari Ioannides (R) for Summit County Council and I hope you will join me. Despite some accusations that Roger Armstrong is somehow a proponent of Dakota Pacific, he has been the No. 1 voice of reason all the way back to the first County Council public hearing. If you attended any of the Dakota Pacific public hearings, you must applaud Roger’s insight and concerns.  Summit County deserves a person of his highly skilled and insightful perspectives, not just on one issue, but on the complex issues Summit County, east and west side, is facing.  I believe Ari will bring a fresh yet balanced approach to the multiple issues of growth, open space, housing and county finances. His proven success with business, local non-profit leadership roles and the North Summit Fire District show us a candidate who will be fair and broad-minded in his role as a County Council member.  Kathy MearsHighland EstatesThe post Local vote matters appeared first on Park Record.
