PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — It's a mild morning across the Piedmont and the day will continue to be unusually warm for this time of year.  Enjoy partly cloudy skies with highs around 77°. The forecast is looking SPOOKtacular for trick-or-treaters this evening! We'll have partly cloudy skies with temperatures hovering near 70°.  Lows are going to settle into the lower-60's by tomorrow morning. A cold front is approaching from the west, and tomorrow it will be working its way through Tennessee. During the day on Friday, we'll have increasing clouds and unseasonably warm temperatures, in the upper-70s. Once the front comes through Friday night, much cooler air will work its way into the Piedmont. Highs over the weekend are going to be closer to normal, in the upper-60s. Persistent clouds stay put Saturday and Sunday, and don't forget to set your clocks back one hour Saturday night! Get ready for another big swing in temperatures during the upcoming work week! We'll start with highs in the upper-60s on Monday, then return to the mid-70s on Tuesday and Wednesday. All three days, we'll have persistent clouds and the possibility of scattered showers, though the total expected rainfall will be less than 1/4".
