Future of Cajon Classic Cruise in question

EL CAJON, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The cars are dazzling, from a 57 Corvette to a 49 Chevy Deluxe, The Cajon Classic Car Cruise has been a main stay of Main Street El Cajon for decades.
“I love it I’ve been here for 20 years doing this and I hope I can continue to do it,” said Steve Lordigan better known as “Charger Steve,” the organizer of the Cajon Classic Car Cruise.
The Cajon car cruise happens Wednesdays from April to October, and while the cruise is naturally shutting down for the winter, organizer Charger Steve says the concerns raised by city officials to move or end the Cajon Classic Cruise is an open question.
“I don’t know if I’m worried, but I certainly hope not, I hope not,” said Charger Steve when asked if he was worried about the car cruise's future.

The hybrid Halloween car show brought thousands to downtown El Cajon, flooding the streets with costumed people strolling Main Street and right by the relatively new barber shop named Faded.
“Some people say it might effect (business) because of the parking, but to us we love it,” said Diego Flores, the owner of Faded Barber shop.
Other businesses declined to speak on camera but have complained the car show blocks access to their businesses and creates parking problems. The city is planning on workshopping the future of the Cajon car show, and you can expect a lot of showing up.
