Severe weather outlook for NE Kansas

Update 6:20 a.m.: The NWS of Topeka says storms could bring quarter-size hail, winds up to 70 mph and a few tornadoes. The NWS says heavy rainfall is posing a low flooding threat.
KANSAS (KSNT) - The National Weather Service (NWS) of Topeka is on a hazardous weather outlook for central, north central and northeast Kansas with the possibility of tornados.
According to the NWS, tornadoes, damaging wind, large hail and severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon throughout the evening. The NWS is asking weather spotters to report severe weather.
According to KSNT Meteorologist Ely Millard, the area faces the greatest risk from damaging winds.

The NWS issued a hazardous weather outlook at 5:34 a.m. on Oct. 30 for Republic, Washington, Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Cloud, Clay, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Jefferson, Ottawa, Dickinson, Geary, Morris, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Douglas, Lyon, Osage, Franklin, Coffey and Anderson counties.
Ely Millard said the storm is moving from west to east and will likely enter the Junction City and Manhattan area around 3 to 5 p.m. and will likely enter the Topeka area 5 to 7 p.m.
