Juniors and seniors from Sam Houston High School, Southwest Legacy High School and Lanier High School were given the opportunity to experience a day in the life as a Frost banker or Spurs employee. The students were given a job, salary, and then some obstacles similar to the board game Life, learning to budget for expenses such as mortgages and utilities. Afterward, the students were treated to a lunch in the Frost Bank foyer with the event’s mentors before having a member of Frost Bank’s management give a motivational speech. Afterward, the students were treated to a Q&A with Spurs three-point sharpshooter Julian Champagnie, who revealed that if he had not been a basketball player, he had planned to become a math teacher. The Coyote and Spurs Hype Squad were also on hand to entertain the crowd. Welcome to the Thread. Join in the conversation, start your own discussion, and share your thoughts.
