Man hits 51yearold with vehicle in Visalia, arrested

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man has been arrested after allegedly intentionally hitting a 51-year-old outside a Lowe's in Visalia, the Visalia Police Department said.
Officers say they responded to Lowe's in Visalia regarding a possible traffic collision just after 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, investigators say they discovered a 51-year-old man had been intentionally struck by a vehicle in the parking lot. The suspect abandoned his vehicle and fled the scene, but he was later apprehended by officers and arrested nearby.
Investigators say the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-threatening injuries. The suspect, 49-year-old Jeremy Miles, was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility under suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
