Man seeks to exonerate ancestor convicted using 'spectral evidence'

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) — Hundreds of years ago, a Portsmouth man was convicted of killing his mother based on "spectral evidence."
The woman's brother said her ghost visited him in a dream and revealed that her own son was the murderer.
Now, one of that man's descendants is hoping to clear his name.
