NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Want to own the biggest souvenir of all from Taylor Swift's "Eras" tour in New Orleans? Now might be your chance if you bid in an auction for one of the four "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" friendship bracelets that were hanging from the sides of the Superdome during the weekend of concerts. Even Swift noticed the giant friendship bracelets on the sides of the Superdome. "I roll into New Orleans and there's a giant friendship bracelet on the outside of the stadium, you did that," she said. Taylor Swift gives a local 11-year old “Swiftie” her autographed hat Now "Swifties" might just be able to take home a big bracelet, if they have big bucks! "I'm super psyched that some super fan gets it and is able to use it in some ridiculous way," Shawn Kolodny, artist with "Big Shiny Balls" and Kolossal Arts said. Kolodny said, "It would probably make a cool Taylor Swift fence. You can blow it up and surround your house with it." Kolodny is a Miami-based artist who jumped at the chance to make giant Taylor Swift bracelets for the Superdome when they called and asked. He only had about four weeks to execute everything. "The beads with the letters on them are 7-feet a piece and the band is 140 feet long," Kolodny said. He went on to say, "It is similar to a bounce house, filled with air pressure. Hidden up on the roof there was a series of pumps that supply the air." The bracelets are no longer hanging, but there are plans to auction them off to the highest bidder. Fans in New Orleans for first night of Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Tour "I would think it will start getting up there in cost. There are a lot of Taylor fans who I think want to own a piece of history like that. I can see it getting up in the six figures," Kolodny said. Some fans figure that it could become a Taylor tradition. "I wonder if stadiums will start trading them like we do," one fan said. This piece of history is in need of another big "blank space." The Superdome purchased the bracelets from the artist and now owns them. Taylor Swift performed three nights at the Caesars Superdome for her mega-popular "Eras" tour.
