Two hospitalized following separate New Orleans shootings

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Two men have been hospitalized following separate shootings that occurred in New Orleans on Tuesday night, Oct. 29.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the first shooting was reported at 8:39 p.m. at the intersection of Peniston Street and Magnolia Street in Uptwon.
Kentwood man accused of raping a juvenile
The initial investigation shows at least one man having been shot in the body at least once. He was then taken to a local hospital by New Orleans EMS.
The second shooting was reported at 8:56 p.m. in the 1900 block of A P Tureaud Avenue in the Seventh Ward. The initial investigation again shows at least one man having been shot in the body at least once. He was also taken to a local hospital by EMS.
