MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A Memphis couple says someone fired a shot into their car after they got into an early morning fender-bender at a gas station in Northeast Memphis.
The couple, still shaken by what happened, did not want to be identified. They said they were backing out of their parking spot at the Exxon in the 5100 block of Summer Avenue when they bumped into a newer model black Chevy Tahoe parked at a pump.

They said there was no visible damage to either vehicle, but they offered to exchange information. They said instead, a passenger jumped out of the Tahoe and threatened them with a gun.
"He had his gun out immediately. The driver was still in the store. "My fiancé asked him to put the gun away," said the woman."He was intoxicated. He didn't want to hear anything that we had to say."
She said he lifted up the gun and fired one shot through the back driver's side window. She said the bullet ricocheted off the back seat and center console.

"I looked and said, oh my God, he shot the window. I told my fiancé to go, go, go, go," she said. "He put the gun in my fiance's face and said 'Okay, now we are even."
She said the gunman, who appeared to be intoxicated, told them to leave. She said the bullet could have easily struck her fiancé, who was sitting in the driver's seat.
"They call it an aggravated assault. I think it's a little more than an aggravated assault. He didn't know if someone was in my back seat or not. I have tinted windows," she said. "And he doesn't know where a bullet will go."

Police recovered one 9mm shell casing on the ground and said photos and footage of the incident were available, but two weeks later, they are still searching for the suspects.
The victims said there was a SkyCop nearby, and they were frustrated no one had been arrested.
"They told me pretty much today because I don't know who did it there is nothing they can do about it. I don't know how when there are cameras," said the victim.
Police have not released any surveillance video but said they are looking for two men and a woman who were in the black Tahoe.
