Kirtland girls soccer advances to DV elite eight in extra time; Chagrin advances in DIV

The Kirtland girls side’s laudable postseason has added another stellar chapter.
On a long road trip out to Clyde for a Division V regional semifinal against Kalida, the Hornets had to go to extra time on a pitch the program has visited before.
They left with a result that will send them to a place they’ve visited before as well.
Isabel Mueller’s strike in overtime sent the Hornets to a 2-1 win and another elite eight.
GOLDEN GOAL!
Kirtland girls soccer defeats Kalida 2-1 in extra time to advance to the Elite Eight! They face Columbus Grove at Huron on Saturday.
Shoutout to @CoachBobLasecki & Eric Bradac for a terrific call on the Kirtland Sports Network. #HornetPride@KLSDSupt pic.twitter.com/RDvcNH3L4e
