How much snow is predicted for the Sierra Nevada this weekend?

HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - As the weather starts to cool down, some areas in the Sierra Nevada could experience 1-inch or greater of snow this weekend, according to the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS).
On Oct. 29, the U.S. NWS posted on social media and said that another upper-level trough is expected to bring light snow to high elevations of the Sierra Nevada this weekend.
The post says that Yosemite Valley will be experiencing a 25% chance of 1-inch snowfall or greater on Nov. 1. On Nov. 2, there will be a 50% chance and on Nov. 3, there will be a 20%. Blackrock will have a 45% chance on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.
According to the U.S. NWS's website, as of Oct. 29, several areas can experience snowfall greater than three inches.
Badger Pass will have a 10% chance, the area of Crane will have a 5% chance, and Vogelsang will have a 4% chance of snowfall on Friday, Nov. 1.
The website says that Badger Pass, Tioga Pass, Tuolumne Meadows and Vogelsang will experience a 70% chance of snow on Saturday, Nov. 2.
On Sunday, Nov. 3, the website says that Badger Pass will have a 15% chance, Crane will have a 1% chance, Tioga Pass and Tuolumne Meadows will have a 20% chance, and Vogelsang will have a 25% chance of snow.
According to the U.S. NWS, they say that snowfall can make travel difficult through the weekend.
