(KRON) -- Fall is here, bringing cooler temperatures, colorful leaves, Halloween, and pumpkin-spice everything. It's also the time of year when we "fall back" by setting the clocks back an hour.
Daylight saving time began back on the second Sunday in March, this year that was back on March 10 when people set their clocks forward one hour. It will end on the first Sunday in November, this coming Sunday, Nov. 3, when people will set their clocks back one hour.
Is it going to rain on Halloween?
To remember which way to set their clocks, people commonly use the expression, "spring forward, fall back."
The time officially changes over at 2 a.m. Sunday, so it's typical for people to change their clocks before they go to bed Saturday.
Daylight saving time will end next year on Sunday, March 9.
