HS Girls Soccer Wrap: Hopewell Valley extends unbeaten run to 18 games

PRINCETON JCT. — Colbie Pagnotta scored in the second half and the Hopewell Valley girls soccer team beat West Windsor-Plainsboro South, 1-0, in a rematch of last week’s CVC Tournament semifinal also won by the Bulldogs.
Hopewell (17-2-2) extended its unbeaten run to 18 matches. Chloe LiVechhi got her league-leading 13th cleansheet.
South (9-5-2) got a nice game from goalkeeper Sophia Latif Estafan.
Steinert 2, Marlboro 0
HAMILTON — The Spartans (8-9-2) got goals from Julia Eaves and Ella Tamagno in a win over Marlboro (7-9). Mike Hastings’ side is 5-2 in its last seven games heading into the state tournament.
Princeton 1, Peddie 1
PRINCETON — Clara Burton gave the Tigers (5-9-3) a first-half lead before the Falcons (6-6-3) grabbed a second-half equalizer through Aubrey Shaulis. Julia Zaldarriaga made 13 saves for Princeton and Aisha Caban stopped six for Peddie.
