Two Albuquerque brothers face federal weapons charges

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Two brothers are facing federal firearms charges. Riley Kellner, 22, is facing one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Adin Kellner, 26, is charged with 11 counts of making false statements during the purchase of a firearm.

News 13 previously reported Adin is accused of purchasing weapons from various gun shops, stating that he was the actual buyer, but he was buying the guns on behalf of other individuals. Investigators connected those guns to 17 shootings. If convicted of the charges Adin faces up to ten years in prison; Riley faces up to 15 years behind bars.
