LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Kentucky football quarterback Brock Vandagriff says that the team knows which signal caller will start against Tennessee this coming weekend, but he declined to say who. “They’ve told us the plan. I don’t know if it’s the best idea to get that out there. Even if we didn’t know the plan, Gavin (Wimsatt) is a great kid. I love him in the quarterback room as well,” said Vandagriff. Vandagriff was benched during the Wildcats’ last game versus Auburn in the second half and Wimsatt entered the game as UK lost 24-10 to the Tigers. “You really have to look yourself in the mirror,” said Vandagriff. “I don’t look at it as a quarterback competition. Whatever they decide is what they decide.” Kentucky is looking to beat its border rivals in Knoxville and get revenge for last year’s lost to the Volunteers at home. This season UK has bested a ranked opponent on the road once, versus Ole Miss in Oxford.
