Kokomo PD search for suspect who robbed Dollar General twice

KOKOMO, Ind. — The Kokomo Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a robbery suspect who targeted the same Dollar General twice within a nine-day span.
According to police, on Oct. 17 a male suspect clad in black entered the Dollar General on 1200 E. Morgan Street and demanded cash from the register. He allegedly was armed with a handgun and fled on foot after stealing cash from both the register and a customer.
Nine days later, on Oct. 26, the same Dollar General was robbed again. This time the suspect was armed with a knife and held an employee from behind while demanding cash.
Police said based on clothing and descriptions that the suspect in both robberies is believed to be the same person.
Police described the suspect as a black male who is approximately 6'2" tall. He was wearing a black facemask, black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. He also reportedly had white shoes and black gloves with white coloring.
