Dust settles, leaves behind cooler temperatures

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- High winds and dust were the theme across the Borderland today.
With wind speeds hitting 25 mph in El Paso and gusts clocking near 40 mph, a blanket of dirt covered much of the sky.
Come Wednesday, conditions settle as a cool front moves in. A high of 70 is expected with a low of 40. Winds will range from 20-25 mph in the afternoon, but we can expect low gusts, and dust should not be an issue.
Your Halloween forecast is definitely a treat with a high of 73 and a low of 46. On Friday, a storm front brings extra moisture into our region. We can potentially see evening showers with thunderstorms just before midnight. A high of 80 and a low of 50 is expected.
On Saturday and Sunday, we stabilize to more normal conditions. Highs in the mid-70s and lows in the upper 40s will be accompanied by partly cloudy skies.
