Trump and Harris share their vastly different political vision with voters

WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - We are just one week away from Election Day and the presidential candidates are on the campaign trail trying to win over voters.
The race is still extremely close, but the candidates are far apart in their political visions and that contrast is on full display.
"I'm running on a plan to save America,” said former president Donald Trump.
Former president Donald Trump says his plan for the country couldn't be more different from Vice President Kamala Harris’s plan.
"Kamala's grossly incompetent,” said Trump.
He defended his recent New York rally, which was criticized for the controversial remarks some speakers made.
It was like a Love Fest, an absolute Love Fest and it was my honor to be involved,” said Trump.
He argues his opponent is attacking him to distract from her record.
"She's going out and only criticizing, talking about Hitler and Nazi because her record is horrible,” said Trump.
Tuesday night VP Harris is expected to again make a case that Trump is a dangerous choice for the country.
She'll give a speech in Washington, D.C., in the very same spot where former President Trump famously spoke to his supporters on January 6th ahead of the attack on the Capitol.
The Harris campaign says she'll call on voters to move on from what they see as the darkness and chaos of the Trump era.
“We have an opportunity to turn the page and chart a new and joyful way forward,” said Harris
The Harris campaign is calling the upcoming speech her closing argument as the campaigns work to emphasize the stark differences that voters have in this election.
Donald Trump does not love this country because he has incapable of love and anything other than himself,” said Governor Tim Walz.
Meanwhile, the former president will hold a rally in the critical battleground state of Pennsylvania Tuesday night.
