WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The driver behind a Range Rover that crashed into the Agawam River underneath the overpass of Route 25 in Wareham on Saturday has been identified by the Plymouth County District Attorney.
31-year-old Jovanye Miller of South Yarmouth died after his car was found submerged.
According to officials, at about 9:20 a.m. on October 26, Massachusetts State Police and officers with the Wareham Police Department responded to a single-car crash.
The Plymouth County DA said it appears that from tire marks found near the submerged vehicle the Range Rover was traveling eastbound on Route 25 when it swerved off the road and ultimately came to rest in the water.
Officials said no foul play is suspected in the incident.
