City of New Orleans prepares for 51st Annual Bayou Classic

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Ahead of the 51st Annual Bayou Classic, the City of New Orleans has released a schedule of events leading up to the big match off.
During the week of Thanksgiving, family, friends and alumni of Southern University and A&M College and Grambling State University will head to the Big Easy to represent their Historically Black College or University.

City officials say the Bayou Classic is a time to not only watch "one of America’s greatest college sports rivalries" but to celebrate football, families and HBCU traditions.
