IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– A USC football player is giving back to the community he grew up in.
Nick Emmanwori donated $5,000 to after school programs in Irmo.
ABC Columbia spoke with the USC defensive back during an event at Seven Oaks Park, where he was on hand to speak with children in his hometown about the importance of after school programs.
After the event, Emmanwori signed autographs and took pictures with the kids.
Emmanwori and the Gamecocks are back in action this Saturday, Nov. 2, against Texas A&M.
