Discussion:
We’re kicking off the day with some patchy dense fog, especially in low lying areas and near the foothills. Expect it to clear by mid-morning with a warm and dry afternoon as high pressure fills into the southeast. Highs will top out in the low 70s today. As the ridge of high pressure builds, it will bring unseasonably warm temps to the region. Outside of a spotty shower chance in the mountains Wednesday, expect the weather to remain dry with highs nearing 80 mid-week. Halloween will be warm and dry with highs once again near 80 during the day. Mainly clear skies and a mild night for trick-or-treaters with temps in the low to mid 70s near sunset and falling into the upper 60s by 9pm. A cold front will track towards the area Friday. Clouds will fill in with an isolated shower chance possible. Cool and crisp air settles in for the weekend with highs near 70 Saturday and Sunday and overnight lows falling back into the low 50s.
