ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are searching for the driver of a stolen Hyundai that crashed into a car, building, and fence Sunday evening. Officers said a 2008 Hyundai Elantra was driving west on Bernard Street just before 6 p.m. Sunday. The driver then ran a stop sign and, according to police, crashed into a Nissan Sentra driving south on Hudson Avenue. The driver of the Nissan was not injured. The driver of the Hyundai left the scene. Police add the driver also crashed into a building on Hudson Avenue and hit a fence. RPD is working to find those that were in the Hyundai at the time of the crash. Officers also confirmed the Hyundai was stolen. The Rochester Fire Department did inspect the building after the crash, and found no significant damage. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call 911.
