WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- One person was injured in a shooting Sunday evening in south Wichita. The call came in at 6:15 p.m. of a shooting in the 1600 block of S. Hydraulic, which is near Linwood Elementary School and Linwood Park. About 15 minutes later, as police were investigating the shooting, an officer in trouble call came from the 2100 block of S. Pattie. It lasted only a couple of minutes. Woman dies after backing into active airplane propeller in Derby Sedgwick County dispatchers said the call was related to the shooting incident. Dispatchers said a suspect was in custody. Dispatchers said the victim was taken to the hospital with potentially critical injuries, but police later told KSN that the injuries turned out to be minor. A police spokesperson said the shooting stemmed from a domestic violence situation.
