INDIANAPOLIS — The Wayne Township Fire Department battled a condominium fire that left two people injured late Sunday night. Per a department spokesperson, around 10:30 p.m., WTFD, the Pike Township Fire Department and the Speedway Fire Department were called to Country Village Condominiums — which are located in the 3100 block of Stillmeadow Drive — on the report of a fire. When crews arrived at the scene, they confirmed the reports they had received about a fire breaking out in the area. According to WTFD, it took firefighters 30 minutes to get the blaze under control. Firefighters reported that the entire four-unit condo was damaged by the blaze. Two civilians were injured by the fire. One of the civilians was taken to the hospital and the other was treated and released at the scene. WTFD reported that no firefighters were injured during the incident.
