WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it arrested two teens in connection to an attempted armed robbery that happened in Northwest D.C. on Saturday night. Police said that on Oct. 26, at about 9:40 p.m., the victim was riding his bike in the 1400 block of Geranium St. when two suspects approached him. The suspects left the scene without the victim's belongings. Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy, of Silver Spring, Md., and 18-year-old Aaron Smith, of Northwest, D.C., with Attempt to Commit Robbery.
