REHOBOTH, Mass. (WPRI) -- Firefighters knocked down a brush fire that broke out in Rehoboth Sunday afternoon.
Crews responded to the area of Old Reynolds Road and Reynolds Avenue around 12:45 p.m. and found heavy fire and smoke coming from power lines.
A firefighter was brought to the hospital due to the heat, but is expected to be okay, according to Fire Chief Frank Barresi.
Barresi also urged people to not burn anything outside because of dry weather conditions. It's currently unclear what caused the fire.
