She spent the day going to different neighborhoods to meet with voters. The Harris campaign noted that Trump was hosting an event in New York City. The former president is hosting an event at Madison Square Garden. It’s expected to draw thousands to the deep-blue Manhattan. With less than two weeks until Election Day, the New York City rally may be questionable to some, but sources close to the Trump campaign say it’s about generating media attention in the last days of the race. Harris and Trump are neck-and-neck nationally, and the race is expected to be one of the closest in history. According to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ, Harris has a 0.6 percentage point lead over Trump. She earns 48.6 percent support to Trump’s 48 percent support, the aggregation of polls finds.
