Happy Sunday, DMV! After a chilly start to the morning, highs this afternoon will warm into the 60s. Today will be a tad cooler than what we felt yesterday. High pressure will move into the DMV by this afternoon allowing for clouds to give away to sunshine. If you plan on heading to the Commander's Game against the Chicago Bears you may want to bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. Temperatures by the beginning of the game are expected to be in the 60s, but by the end of the game, temperatures would dip into the 50s. Mostly clear skies and light winds will be the trend as we head into the evening as high pressure continues to settle right on top of us. Overnight lows will be chilly dipping into the 30s across much for the DMV. The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning that will go into effect overnight and last until 9 a.m. Monday morning where the growing season is still in place. Grab the jacket when heading out the door tomorrow morning. Morning lows will start off in the 30s, making it a frosty start to the workweek. Highs for Monday are expected to reach back into the 60s with wall-to-wall sunshine. A slow warming trend will be seen as we head into the week with highs flirting with the 80s by Halloween.
