READING, Mass. (WWLP) - The Reading Police Department is seeking the public's help in searching for a vehicle that struck an officer during a traffic stop on Saturday. New Hampshire men arrested after loaded firearm, drugs seized in Palmer According to the Reading Police Department, an officer was struck by a pickup truck that was passing by during a traffic stop around 326 Lowell Street at Willow Street around 7:30 p.m. The officer was struck on the elbow by the side-view mirror of the pickup truck. The officer who was struck was treated at a local hospital for their injuires injuries. The pickup truck is described as being red with a black bumper and is believed to be an older model. It might also have a light strip across the back of the tailgate door. If any residents in that area have surveillance footage that might have captured the incident, or if anyone has information, call 781-944-1212.
