A 45-year-old Riverside man was arrested on suspicion of molesting three girls, with his wife accused of being an accessory to the acts. Over the past three years, the girls said, they were photographed and sexually assaulted during sleepovers at a friend’s home in Lake Hills, an unincorporated area of Riverside. The allegations were reported in September to the Department of Public Social Services, Child Services Division and on Oct. 24 a search warrant was issued at the couple’s home on the 12000 block of Orangemont Lane, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release. Another search warrant was made for the workplace of the husband and primary suspect, Christopher Gary Tilden. Several electronics obtained from the search will be used as evidence, authorities said. Christopher Tilden was arrested on multiple charges, including lewd acts with a minor, sexual abuse of a minor, dissuading a witness, and child endangerment. He is being held on $2 million bail. During the investigation, authorities said, they found that the suspect’s wife, 43-year-old Katrina Frances Tilden, learned about the molestation and failed to notify law enforcement. Katrina Tilden was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment, being an accessory, and dissuading a witness, officials said in the release. No additional information was immediately available.
