Bicyclist struck and killed in Riverside hitandrun

A bicyclist was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle in Riverside on Saturday night, authorities said Sunday, Oct. 27.
Firefighters and paramedics dispatched at 7:55 p.m. to Streeter Avenue, north of Lantana Street, located the bicyclist suffering from serious injuries, said Sgt. Dan Macias of the Riverside Police Department.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Following the collision, the driver of the vehicle fled, Macias said.
