TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be performing repairs on bridges in Mansfield and Taunton beginning on Oct. 28. Repairs to the Interstate 495 northbound and southbound bridge over School Street in Mansfield will occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Nov. 1. MassDOT added that overnight repairs on the I-495 northbound and southbound bridges over the Snake River in Taunton will also occur from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Nov. 1. Lane and shoulder closures northbound and southbound will be used for both work zones as needed, and one lane of traffic will always be open.
