PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- A car fire snarled traffic on Rt. 146 North in Providence early Sunday morning. Around 7:30 a.m., crews were called to near exit 1 of the road for a car that had caught fire. A 12 News crew on scene saw the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. RIDOT says that the car has since been removed from the scene, and all lanes of traffic are flowing again.
