After getting into the mid-60s yesterday, high temperatures today should be much warmer in the low 70s later this afternoon. Sunshine should dominate our skies once again today, but expect some scattered clouds on-and-off Monday and Tuesday as the wind gusts kick up. We're anticipating 40-50 mph gusts to start the work week ahead of Wednesday rain and storms. That may cause some isolated power outages and tough driving conditions at times. Rain should start around the Metro during the late morning and storms in the early afternoon as early moves out before midnight Wednesday night. Expect some severe storm activity like the last event, with wind and hail concerns. FOX4 meteorologists Joe Lauria, Karli Ritter, Michelle Bogowith, Alex Countee and Jacob Lanier will keep you apprised of any severe and dangerous weather in our area.
