CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four people were injured following a car crash on I-485 Outer in northwest Charlotte early Sunday morning.
It happened on the outer loop near Exit 22 to I-77 and West W.T. Harris Boulevard.
Medic transported two people with life-threatening injuries, one with serious injuries and another with minor injuries. One of the victims was trapped for 15 minutes, Medic said.
That portion of I-485 Outer was temporarily closed. Three of the four lanes are still closed at this time. The highway is expected to fully clear up by around 10:45 a.m.
